Learn the basics when it comes to design, hosting and publishing of you new website.
Learning how to design, present and maintain a website is important. Failing to follow some of the tips below could result in your webpage getting lost in the millions of others being published each day. Proper planning and optimization can help your business or personal website make it to the top of the search engines and get the attention it deserves.
Some key design tips to keep in mind: Don’t bog your page down with bulky graphics–most people still surf with 56k modems. Don’t use excessive Java Scripting. Lastly, fancy page transitions, broken hyperlinks and brain-searing color schemes will never get your page bookmarked.
Purchasing a Domain
Somewhere between getting an idea for your site and completing your pages, you’ll need to purchase a domain name. A domain name is something like BOB.com or MyCoolSite.com. It is a name for the numerical address the internet uses to lookup your page. Domain names are used because it’s inconvenient to type and hard to remember a number like 200.34.123.43. To purchase a domain name you can go to any registrar. Some typical registrars are Dotster and GoDaddy. Shop around for the best deal. Often, web hosting companies will provide the registrar service in a package deal with their hosting plan.
Finding a Hosting Company
Cheaper isn’t always better. However, QuickWebHosting.com provides the perfect combination of inexpensive web hosting with great service and technical support. They provide the top webhosts in the industry and give a summary of their strengths. They also provide tech support via a forum, as well as articles and tutorials to help with your website needs.
You need your pages to be up for your customers and friends. But most importantly, you need to your site to be up when search engine spiders come looking for you. Search engines use robots to index your site and determine your ranking. Imagine the horror if your inexpensive web hosting company allows your site to be down for several hours over the weekend and you miss an update from a search engine! No one on the internet will ever find you.
Ask around. Search the newsgroups. See what everyone else is saying. Look for a company that offers plenty of bandwidth and disk space. Take into consideration how many e-mail accounts you’ll need. And most importantly, look for a site that offers good tech support and a money back guarantee.

Now that you have your website up and going, you are going to want as many people as possible to come and have a look at what you have to offer. This process is commonly referred to as search engine optimization. What you really should be shooting for is having your website displayed on the first page of search engines on the Internet, because this means that people will naturally tend to go to your website.
Having a catchy name can also help, because you will have other websites on the page with you. Using a popular key Word or phrase in your name can only help in this regard. At the same time you will want to have the key word or phrase relate to what you are selling, so once they go to your website they will see what they are looking for.
If you have more than one key phrase that you want to have optimized then you should devote a separate page in your website for each phrase. This is because having several key phrases on the same page can dilute the optimizing effect that you are after. The longer the key phrase, the better off you are, because short key phrases are too generalized.
For instance using the Word “fishing” as a key phrase is far more general than using the phrase “shore fishing” or “fishing and angling”. Key phrases are an important part of SEO but there are other things that you can do as well. Submitting articles to article directories is another method of search engine optimization and it is recommended that you submit no more than five articles a day to avoid being “sandboxed” by Google. Another method of search engine optimization is to use the services of an SEO company, as there are many online.

The major work for your site is done after design and publishing - or is it?
You have pin-pointed your niche, have done your keyword research and found your business edge. You optimized the text in your copy to reflect the preferred keywords and spent hours designing the most perfect template for your site. Your web site is published after many hours of absolute slave work. You have created great images, excellent colors and have inserted your auto-responder code for signing customers up. You desperately need this site indexed in Google so that customers can find you. So is the major work done - not yet my dear reader.
Step one: Create a blog on your site Use the commercial script library inside your hosting panel to create a blog on your site. This installation can be in the root folder or in a directory named after one of your main keywords. Install a blog plug-in that will create an XML sitemap and continuously update it as new posts are added to the blog. Ensure that you configure your ping services under the Settings / Writing / Update Services. Create at least four unique, original keyword relevant posts on this blog.
Step two: Create a sitemap Here is a unique twist. Although there are various extremely good sitemap creator software options on the web, you can use the XML sitemap plug-in to do this for you. It can be set to automatically create the sitemap and also automatically update the sitemap after posts to your blog. The plug-in can be configured to place the sitemap in the blog folder or in any other location within your site. It would be preferable to have the sitemap located in the root folder. You can also configure the plug-in to include other sub-folder pages of your site in the sitemap.
Step Three: Create another blog Create another blog at one of the main free blogging sites using your main keyword as the name of this blog. Obviously this should not cost anything. Create another 2 unique, original keyword relevant posts on this additional blog. Use H1 and keyword bolded tags pointing to your blog or main site index page in these posts.
Step Four: Submit your site to the search engines If you do not have a search engine webmaster tools account, create an account, using one of the free mail services, to access the webmaster tools. Use that mail address to create a master search engine webmaster tools account. Log into the search engines webmaster tools account, add your site and follow the prompts to tell the search engines where the sitemap is located on your web site.
That is it. I have seen results within 4 hours, but typically rather allow approximately 18 hours for the first result to appear.

I was recently hanging out with some other network marketers in a forum and I came across another members post. His post was a question about whether he was doing the right thing in promoting his articles to generate free traffic to his website. After reading the post, I realized that he was using the perfect system and he probably just didn’t even know it.
So, what I wanted to do was share with you this hidden little system that he was using and now that I am currently using that has been ultra successful. The system includes 5 little steps that you can do with your eyes closed. To generate free traffic to your website for life, all you have to do is:
1. Create and submit your article content to the article directories of your choice. Notice I said directories and not directory. You want to have as many backlinks to your site as possible because backlinks help to generate the free traffic you desire.
2. Take that same content and then post it to your blog. The key here is to make sure you ping your blog. You can ping to individual sites or you can use a free service like pingomatic or pingoat that will send out your ping to several blog directories.
3. Digg your post. Open a free account at Digg.com and each post you make, dig it! Others will find your content and begin to share it with others. Digg is a social networking site.
4. Utilize once again your same article content and make a video for it and upload it to youtube and other video sites. The video will bring your written word to life and attract the prospect who values “seeing” information as opposed to always reading it. Videos are extremely hot right now so this is an awesome way to promote you and your expertise . Many of the MLM gurus are using this technique to generate free traffic to their sites as well.
5. Lastly, email a link to your video or to your article to your list. Get the people already in your funnel involved. Keeping them aware of your latest activity will help them to realize that you are the “right one” to follow for success.
Now this really easy list of tasks can be completed by anyone serious about growing their business, their list and their bank account! If you take this information and put it to use right away, you will be able to generate free traffic to your website endlessly for the rest of your life. So go ahead and get to work!
If you would like to find more information about how you can successfully grow your network marketing business on the internet, follow the “Internet MLM Success” link in the resource box.

If you spend a lot of time on the Web, you may have heard about article marketing. Article marketing can be a great SEO tool for businesses of any size and industry. Knowing how to make article marketing work for your business can bring you increased traffic and better search engine rankings.
What is article marketing?
Article marketing is when you write articles about your industry or field of expertise and submit them to online article directories. These directories usually allow authors to build a profile or include a resource box at the end of each article, so you can create links to your site. In addition, your articles can prompt readers to visit your site in search of more information on related topics.
What are article directories?
Article directories are sites that accept submissions of articles from authors. These articles are displayed on individual pages of the site and readers are allowed to use the articles on their own sites, provided they give the original author credit. Article directories usually make money for their owners by generating ad revenue or affiliate income. Some directories have many categories and are considered general directories. Others only accept articles about specific topics. These are known as niche directories.
How does article marketing benefit me in terms of SEO?
Article marketing provides valuable SEO benefits for businesses of all sizes. Because you can include links to your Web site in each of your articles, this makes it easier for the search engine spiders to find your site and index your pages which has great impact for your online strategy. If you can have your articles published on sites that have a .edu domain extension, this can provide a very valuable SEO benefit. Additionally, article marketing can increase your overall traffic.
If you haven’t started your own article marketing campaign, you need to get moving. If you don’t have the time to write your own articles, let us know. One of our copywriters can write quality articles that reflect positively on your business.

Anybody who is into internet marketing knows that customers are such tough nuts to crack. Internet marketers are always on the lookout for the most efficient and effective way to get through to clients. One answer is through online survey.
Why survey?
The survey, as it is originally intended, is a valuable tool for gathering important information from the client base. This information can be used as powerful marketing leverage to improve on a product or service. But there is more to surveys than soliciting for information.
Customers often love to get their minds across. They will grab at any opportunity to speak their minds and feel empowered in the process. A survey is a venue for customers and potential clients to share their thoughts. It engages them to explore subjects that have never occurred to them previously. It also allows the surveyor to probe areas that may be difficult to discuss in more conventional avenues. And more importantly, it can be used to persuade customers to believe in a particular cause.
The power of survey in marketing is more evident in its ability to relate ideas together and instill it in the minds of its subjects. It is the big chance to associate positive traits with a brand item. It is likewise handy for introducing links that will explain a particular thought.
In addition, a survey adds interest to any website, especially when it is centered on new and interesting topics all the time. It helps establish a loyal following of people who are into mental gymnastics.
Where do I start?
Building an online survey is a lot easier than most people think. For starters, there are a handful of survey sites that allow people to exercise their creativity and instantly create their very own surveys minus the complication of programming. The bonus is that most offer the service for free and even throw in publishing services at minimal cost.
Some Pointers
1. Your survey title should be catchy enough to entice readers to take the bait.
2. All your questions should obtain either one of three primary objectives:
(a) discover information about your customers for market research. (b) endorse the product or service being offered (c) educate the readers for the benefit of the entire marketing drive.
3. Solicit information on demography as well as lifestyle interests to know the profile of your client base. This will give you an idea on whether you have actually achieved your target clientele.
4. Remember to associate positive attributes to your product or service and instill it in the minds of your audience through questions that they have to answer.
5. Occasionally employ visual stimulation such as animation and photos to keep the readers engaged.
6. Try to inject subtle ways to explain to readers popular misconceptions about your product or cause using links, information icon or simply by stating it directly within or prior to the question. GP

If you’re relying on keywords to drive traffic to your site, there’s a way to supercharge your copy to get to page one in Google more quickly. The secret is to use keyword modifiers. Keyword modifiers are words that you add to the core keyword to improve your ranking in search engines. It’s easy to do.
Regardless of your niche market, the goal is to brand yourself as THE authority. If you’re using generic keywords, you’re tossing money to the wind. If you’re not already on the first page of Google’s search results for those keywords, you may get lost in Never-Never Land. You’ll be just one of dozens-or hundreds-of marketers using the same keyword, and customers may never know that you exist if they’re using a generic search.
For instance, if you’re a copywriter and rely solely on the word “copywriter” to get noticed, you’ll be at the back of the line. Check it out…I just Googled the word “copywriter, and there are about 5,890,000 results. If you’re a new copywriter with a new website, it could take a long time - if ever - to get noticed.
Instead, use keyword modifiers to climb to the top of the search results. When I add “marketing strategist” to the same search, the list narrows to 258,000. Now, let’s try copywriter + marketing strategist + self help. Now, the list has narrowed to 65,800. If you really want to narrow your search, add a geographic keyword modifier to your copy. I’m going to add “South Carolina,” since that’s where I currently reside. There I am in the third position on a Google search. Because I am listed in a high-ranking website, I’ve increased my exposure.
At one time this website was on page one, and then I changed to a WordPress platform and lost my ranking. It’s amazing how quickly we can rise to the top and plummet to oblivion so quickly. That’s why you need to stay on top of your keyword marketing strategies.
Look at what your competitors are doing, particularly those who are in the top three spots in the search engines. What keywords are they using? Are they using brand names that you can somehow add to your web copy? Use these additional descriptions as keyword modifiers, add them to your copy, and you’ll have a good formula for improving your ranking in search engines.

The Franchising Industry has had its ups and downs, although over time it has maintained a significant margin over the average small business failures in the market place. In fact, franchising is a better risk than starting a business from scratch. Perhaps you have seen the figures that some 75% of all small businesses fail in the first five years of business. With franchised outlets that figure is much lower.
Did you also know that franchisee success rates tower over franchisor success rates? Most franchisors never make to thru their first five years in franchising, whereas even if the franchisor fails many of their franchisees go onto succeed and use the business model, going on without their former franchisor corporate HQ partner.
Over the last few decades franchising grew to some 6,000 active franchisors, then dwindled to just under 2,000 heading into the recession from 1999 to 2002 and from there the numbers are shooting back up again. Today, franchising has taken hold in numerous industries, places you would have never thought possible. For instance, a franchise to haul junk away or a franchise that inspects homes for sale or for foreclosure, for bank appraisal, real estate price points or for a buyer.
We are witnessing a trend in franchising; more diversity, more industries and more competition, which means more choices for franchise buyers, more opportunities and a chance to pick a business that fits your lifestyle. Best of all, some of the strongest periods for the franchising industry have been during mild recessions, when there are more potential franchise buyers, which have been laid-off from their corporate jobs.
A good time to buy a franchise would be right now. Get your business set up and then ride the economic recovery from the business cycle, as your business grows. Those who know franchising agree - it’s a great time to get in on the ground floor and get into a business of your own. Of course, before you take the plunge, look around, check it out and see if there is a business that fits your lifestyle and temperament moving forward. Think on this.

Fabric banners have got to be one of the oldest advertising materials that are effective at attracting buyers to one’s product. Fabric banners have evolved from just simple cloths on which text is printed to ones that have fantastic graphics and colors. Where before, banners competed with each other only with the fonts used, nowadays images can be printed on banners and lately some of those images are approaching photo quality. And before, there was only cloth for banners, now, there’s a variety of fabrics that can be used to make banners, especially the synthetic ones that are more durable, more weather-proof and water-proof. And with the advent of digital printing technology, photos can be copied onto banner cloths and by sectioning the image, printing these images on banner cloths and attaching the banners side by side, a composite image of any size can be printed on banner cloths. And as digital printers improve, it’s not far off when the images can be printed to any size, even big ones, since the printer can probably be designed to print on a single big sheet of banner cloth, traveling on the cloth and depositing the appropriate pigment on the proper location to produce one huge gigantic image that can be immediately mounted on a big billboard.
We can print any size of fabric banners you need. The latest print companies provide services that border that of advertising.
